When, under the provisions of this chapter or under the provisions of the articles of organization or operating agreement of a limited-liability company, notice is required to be given to a member or to a manager of the company, if it has a manager or managers, a waiver in writing signed by the person or persons entitled to the notice, whether before or after the time stated in it, is equivalent to the giving of notice.
