Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 12-L:16

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Discovery: Lawyers' examination, before trial, of facts and documents in possession of the opponents to help the lawyers prepare for trial.
  • Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
The annual lease to the corporation shall include the use of all exhibits and equipment owned by the discovery center on December 31, 2012. The state shall allow the corporation, at its own expense, to make any upgrades to the equipment, software, and exhibits the corporation deems necessary.
