Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 121:3
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- governor and council: shall mean the governor with the advice and consent of the council. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:31-a
- United States: shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
No land shall be acquired pursuant to this chapter until the acquisition shall have been recommended by the land use board and approved by the governor and council; but the provisions of this chapter shall not apply to the acquisition by the United States of sites for post offices, custom houses, or other public buildings or effect an amendment or repeal of N.H. Rev. Stat. Chapter 123 or RSA 272.
