Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 125-F:10

- Person: means any individual, corporation, partnership, firm, association, trust, estate, public or private institution, group, agency of this state other than the program, political subdivision of this state, any other state or political subdivision or agency, and any legal successor, representative, or agent of the foregoing, other than federal government agencies. Whenever the commissioner finds that an emergency exists requiring immediate action to protect the public health or welfare, he may issue an order reciting the existence of such an emergency and requiring that such action be taken as necessary to meet the emergency. Such order shall be effective immediately. Any person to whom such order is directed shall comply with the order immediately, but on application to the commissioner of the department of health and human services, shall be afforded a hearing within 15 days. On the basis of such hearing, the commissioner of the department of health and human services shall continue such order in effect, revoke it, or modify it.
