Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 135-A:6
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4

Duly authorized copies of this act shall, upon its approval be transmitted by the secretary of state to the governor of each state, the attorney general and the secretary of state of the United States, and the council of state governments.
