I. Each initial notification of hazardous waste activity filed by any new hazardous waste generator in New Hampshire shall be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of $150.
II. Political subdivisions of the state shall be exempt from this notification fee.
III. Hazardous waste generators that generate less than 220 pounds/100 kilograms of hazardous waste per month and that are participants in a department-developed multi-media compliance assurance program referred to as an environmental results program, or ERP, shall be exempt from this notification fee.

Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 147-A:6-a
- month: shall mean a calendar month, and the word "year" a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed; and the word "year" shall be equivalent to the expression "year of our Lord. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:8
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
