- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Interpreters for the deaf and hard of hearing, licensed under RSA 326-I, shall be provided to persons who are deaf, deafblind, or hard of hearing if such persons wish to meet with their senator or representative on the state house campus. Persons who would like an interpreter pursuant to this section shall provide sufficient notice to the speaker of the house of representatives or the president of the senate, as appropriate.
