Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 154:22

  • bylaw: when used in reference to legislative action taken by a city, town, county or village district shall have the same meaning as an ordinance and shall be subject to the same procedures for enactment. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:45
Every town may, by vote or bylaw, provide that any buildings or structures in the town, or in a definite part thereof, shall be provided with such ladders and buckets as may be deemed necessary for use in case of fire.
