Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 157-B:13

  • petition: when used in connection with the equity jurisdiction of the superior court, and referring to a document filed with the court, shall mean complaint, and "petitioner" shall mean plaintiff. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:51
During the pendency of any petition for review in the superior court, the filing of the petition shall not stay the order or regulation under review, but the court may, on application, on notice to the commissioner, and on cause shown, grant an order to restrain the commissioner from taking any further action on the order or regulation under review.
