Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 163-B:5
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- litter: means all rubbish, refuse, garbage, trash, debris, dead animals or other discarded materials of every kind and description. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 163-B:2
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
Evidence that litter is thrown, deposited, dropped or dumped from any motor vehicle, boat, airplane or other conveyance in violation of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 163-B:3, shall be prima facie evidence that the operator of said conveyance shall have violated this chapter and the license to operate such a conveyance issued to any person convicted hereunder may be suspended for a period not to exceed 7 days together with, or in lieu of, penalties provided in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 163-B:4.
