Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 167:2-a
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
If any person receiving assistance under this chapter or N.H. Rev. Stat. Chapter 161 is physically able to work, the commissioner of health and human services may require that such a person receiving aid work for the state at any job which the state has available that is within the capacity of the person receiving assistance.
