Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 170-G:4-h

There is hereby established in the state treasury the emergency services for children, youth, and families fund. The funds shall be used by the department to meet the immediate needs of children and families as required to ensure the department is making reasonable efforts to avoid the removal of children and support reunification. The use of these funds shall be limited to instances when there are no other supports or services available to meet the immediate need in a timely manner. The funds may be comprised of public funds, gifts, grants or donations or any other source of funds. The fund shall be non-lapsing and shall be continually appropriated to the department for purposes funding emergency services administered by the department, or its providers, under RSA 169-B, RSA 169-C, N.H. Rev. Stat. Chapter 169-D or under this chapter.
