Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 170-G:5-a
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.

County payments due under N.H. Rev. Stat. § 169-B:40, 169-C:27 and 169-D:29 shall be paid to the department of health and human services on a monthly basis within 45 days’ notice of the amount due to the state. Delinquent payments due under these chapters, with interest at the rate of 12 percent per annum, may be recovered by action in a court of competent jurisdiction against the political subdivision liable therefor or may, at the request of the state agency, be deducted from any other moneys payable to such subdivision by any department or agency of the state.
