Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 179:5-b
- Commission: means the state liquor commission. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 175:1
- Licensee: means the person to whom a license of any kind is issued by the commission. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 175:1
- Liquor: means all distilled and rectified spirits, alcohol, wines, fermented and malt liquors and cider, of over 6 percent alcoholic content by volume at 60 degrees Fahrenheit. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 175:1
- Minor: means an individual under the age of 21. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 175:1
It shall be a violation to sell any liquor or beverage to a minor during enforcement activity initiated solely for the purpose of verifying noncompliance with N.H. Rev. Stat. § 179:5. It shall be a misdemeanor to knowingly sell liquor or beverage to a minor at the time of any such enforcement activity. The commission shall retain the right to require the licensee in such a circumstance to initiate additional training of its staff or individual employee. This section shall not apply to law enforcement initiatives involving surveillance, investigations, or criminal complaints of prohibited sales.
