If any provision of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 198:38 through N.H. Rev. Stat. § 198:43 or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 198:38 through N.H. Rev. Stat. § 198:43 which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, such provisions are declared to be severable.
