- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
The rules and regulations of the executive director promulgated under the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to be severable and if any provision or the application thereof shall be held invalid, the remainder shall not be affected thereby.
