Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 207:44

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
The superior court shall have power by injunction or other appropriate process to restrain any corporation, association, club or other similar organization, and any member, servant or agent thereof, from occupying, using or enjoining any property held or acquired in this state in violation of the provisions of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 207:43.
