Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 20:10

  • Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
The publications authorized under N.H. Rev. Stat. § 20:9 shall be distributed as follows: one copy to each city and town in the state, one copy to such of the public libraries requesting them, 50 copies to the New Hampshire Historical Society, 50 copies to the state library and the remainder to be placed in the custody of the secretary of state, who is authorized to exchange the same for similar publications by other states.
