Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:16
- Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
The word “grantor” may include every person by or from whom any estate or interest in land passes in or by any deed; and the word “grantee” may include every person to whom any such estate or interest passes in like manner.
