Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 227-G:6
- Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
- Division: means the division of forests and lands, department of natural and cultural resources. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 227-G:2
- governor and council: shall mean the governor with the advice and consent of the council. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:31-a
In case the federal government shall make available to the division for its activities any funds in excess of the amounts estimated for such activities in the so-called appropriation acts, the division, with the approval of the governor and council, may expend such additional federal funds.
