Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 227-L:28
- Department: means the department of natural and cultural resources. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 227-G:2
- Director: means the director of the division of forests and lands, department of natural and cultural resources, also known as the state forester. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 227-G:2
- Division: means the division of forests and lands, department of natural and cultural resources. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 227-G:2
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
After the aforesaid compact shall become operative and effective as provided for in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 227-L:27, the governor shall appoint 3 members hereinafter called commissioners of the Northeastern Forest Fire Protection Commission. One of such commissioners shall always be the director of the division of forests and lands, department of natural and cultural resources. The second shall be a member of the legislature, and the third shall be a citizen of the state designated by the governor as a responsible representative to serve at the pleasure of the governor.
