Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 230:6

  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the state shall not perform any new construction or major reconstruction of any class I, II or III highway, except highways laid out under the provisions of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 230:44-54 unless the city or town in which the highway is located has adopted a zoning ordinance pursuant to N.H. Rev. Stat. § 675:2 or 3 or a master plan pursuant to N.H. Rev. Stat. § 675:6. This limitation shall not apply to new construction or major reconstruction of bridges on class I, II or III highways.
