Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:118

  • Business district: shall mean the territory contiguous to a highway when 50 percent or more of the frontage thereon for a distance of 300 feet or more is mainly occupied by dwellings or by dwellings and buildings in use for business. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:8
“Urban residence district” shall mean the territory contiguous to a highway not comprising a business district when the frontage on such highway for a distance of 300 feet or more is mainly occupied by dwellings or by dwellings and buildings in use for business.
