I. The fee for multi-use decal number plates shall be $15 per year per set, which shall be in addition to any other registration and number plate fees. This fee shall not be prorated.
II. The commissioner of the department of safety shall deposit $5 from each fee collected under paragraph I in the department of safety inventory fund established by N.H. Rev. Stat. § 228:25. The remainder shall be deposited in the highway fund.

Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 261-B:4

  • Commissioner: shall mean the commissioner of safety. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:13
  • Department: shall mean the department of safety of the state of New Hampshire. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:19
  • Number plate: shall mean the sign or marker furnished by the director, on which is displayed the registration number or mark of a vehicle assigned thereto by the director, which shall bear on the face thereof a permanent or changeable designation of the effective period. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:68
  • Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
