Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 261:125

Certificate: shall mean :
I. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:9
Dealer: shall mean a retail vehicle dealer or an auto wholesale dealer. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:18
Director: shall mean the director of the division of motor vehicles of the department of safety. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:20

The director may, if he is satisfied of the facts stated in such application, grant the same and issue to the applicant a certificate of registration containing such information as the director may determine. All motor vehicles owned by such automotive recycling dealer shall, while so owned, be regarded as registered under such distinguishing number.
