I. No person shall be a driver education instructor unless such person has a driver education certificate issued by the department.
II. This section shall not apply to a person giving instruction, with or without compensation, for the licensing of commercial drivers, who meets or exceeds any rules promulgated under 49 U.S.C. § 31136 by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration of the United States Department of Transportation.

Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 263:44-a
- Certificate: shall mean :
I. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:9 - Department: shall mean the department of safety of the state of New Hampshire. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:19
- Driver: shall mean a person who drives or is in actual physical control of a motor vehicle as defined in N. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:25
- Person: shall mean the same as provided in N. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:74
