I. There is hereby established within the department of labor the division of workers’ compensation under the supervision of a classified director of workers’ compensation who shall be under the direction of the commissioner. The director shall perform such duties as are assigned by the commissioner.
II. The division shall conduct annual reviews of the job descriptions of its employees and the qualifications for such descriptions to assure that the job descriptions are followed and the qualifications are met.
III. There is hereby created the classified position of assistant director of workers’ compensation who shall be under the direction of the commissioner. The assistant director of workers’ compensation shall perform such duties as may be assigned by the commissioner, including, but not limited to, such duties as are necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the commissioner under N.H. Rev. Stat. § 281-A:5 through 281-A:5-c and 281-A:11, or the regulation of public employer self-insured workers’ compensation programs under RSA 5-B.
