Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 275-A:5
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.

Any person, partnership, agency, firm, or corporation violating any provision of N.H. Rev. Stat. Chapter 275-A shall be subject to a civil penalty of up to $2,500 for each day of noncompliance, to be imposed by the labor commissioner in accordance with the procedures established in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 273:11-a. Any person aggrieved by the commissioner’s assessment of such penalty may appeal in accordance with N.H. Rev. Stat. § 273:11-b.
