Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 284:21-n
- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
If any clause, sentence, paragraph or part of this subdivision shall, for any reason, be judged invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair, or invalidate the remainder thereof, but shall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, or part thereof directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered.
