(a) Each foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state shall continuously maintain in this state:
(1) a registered office that may be the same as any of its places of business; and

Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 293-A:15.07

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4

(2) a registered agent, who may be:
(i) an individual who resides in this state and whose business office is identical with the registered office;
(ii) a corporation organized or authorized under RSA 292, RSA 293-A, or N.H. Rev. Stat. Chapter 294-A whose business office is identical with the registered office;
(iii) a limited liability company formed or authorized under N.H. Rev. Stat. Chapter 304-C whose business office is identical with the registered office; or
(iv) a limited liability partnership formed or authorized under N.H. Rev. Stat. § 304-A:44 whose business office is identical with the registered office.
