Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 332-A:1
- Answer: The formal written statement by a defendant responding to a civil complaint and setting forth the grounds for defense.

Any person required by N.H. Rev. Stat. Title XXX to apply to the state for a license to practice his occupation or profession shall not be required to answer any question concerning whether he has been arrested or indicted for a crime. This section shall not prohibit the state from asking whether the applicant has ever been convicted of a crime.
