Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 354-A:16
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
- Sexual orientation: means having or being perceived as having an orientation for heterosexuality, bisexuality, or homosexuality. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:49
The opportunity for every individual to have equal access to places of public accommodation without discrimination because of age, sex, gender identity, race, creed, color, marital status, physical or mental disability or national origin is hereby recognized and declared to be a civil right. In addition, no person shall be denied the benefit of the rights afforded by this section on account of that person’s sexual orientation.
