Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 374-D:8

  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
  • Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
Any holder of bonds or notes issued under this chapter, and the trustee under a trust agreement or resolution securing such bonds or notes, except to the extent the rights given in this chapter may be restricted by such trust agreement or resolution, may bring suit upon the bonds or notes and may, either at law or in equity, by suit, action, mandamus, or other proceedings, protect and enforce all rights under the laws of the state or granted under this chapter or under such trust agreement or resolution, and may enforce and compel the performance of duties required by this chapter or by such trust agreement or resolution to be performed by the municipality or by any of its officers.
