Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 383-E:3-302

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
A corporation organized under this chapter shall be known as a credit union, and its corporate name shall include the 2 words “credit union.” Other distinguishing words may be used by permission of the commissioner.
