Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 395:27
- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- justice: when applied to a magistrate, shall mean a justice of a municipal court, or a justice of the peace having jurisdiction over the subject-matter. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:12
- petition: when used in connection with the equity jurisdiction of the superior court, and referring to a document filed with the court, shall mean complaint, and "petitioner" shall mean plaintiff. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:51
Whenever it appears to the commissioner advisable, or upon the petition of the trustees or directors of the institution, he may, with the approval of a justice of the superior court, reduce pro rata the deposit account of each depositor therein, whenever the value of its assets is less than the total amount of its deposits.
