Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 4-B:3
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
The state shall provide a term life insurance policy for any governor. The policy shall provide a face value death benefit in an amount equal to the annual salary provided the governor in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 94:1-a. The state shall pay all premiums associated with the policy. The policy shall be in effect only as long as the governor serves in that capacity.
