Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 401:15

  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Corporations subject to regulation by the insurance commissioner shall not be subject to the requirements of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 293-A:4.01(a)(1) pertaining to the designation of the corporate status and the corporate name but shall be subject to all other provisions of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 293-A:4.01, except that any filings, including trade names, shall be subject to the examination by and approval of the insurance commissioner before filing with the secretary of state.
