Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 405:10
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
No such joint stock or mutual insurance company, nor its agents, shall do business in this state until it has filed with the commissioner a written stipulation, agreeing that legal process affecting the company, served on the commissioner for the time being, shall have the same effect as if served personally on the company within the state. Service of such process shall be made by leaving a copy of the process in the hands of the commissioner or in his office and paying to the commissioner a fee as prescribed by N.H. Rev. Stat. § 400-A:29.
