Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 439:1
- farm: means any land, buildings, or structures on or in which agriculture and farming operations or activities are carried out or conducted and shall include the residence or residences of owners, occupants, or employees located on such land. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:34-a
- following: when used by way of reference to any section of these laws, shall mean the section next preceding or following that in which such reference is made, unless some other is expressly designated. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:13
- real estate: shall include lands, tenements, and hereditaments, and all rights thereto and interests therein. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:21
The following terms as used in this chapter shall have the meanings given them in Section 1324 of the Food Security Act of 1985, 7 USC section 1631, as amended, and in the regulations adopted pursuant thereto: “amount [of farm products],” “buyer in the ordinary course of business,” “commission merchant,” “crop year,” “description [of farm products],” “farm products,” “farm product category,” “reasonable description of the real estate,” “security interest,” and “selling agent.”
