Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 44:19
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Cities holding elections on days other than those of state elections shall be governed by the provisions of N.H. Rev. Stat. Chapter 658 and 659 in the choice of city and ward officers insofar as such provisions are not inconsistent with city charter provisions or other state statutes.
