Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 471-C:36
- Administrator: means the state treasurer, or designee. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 471-C:1
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- State: means any state, district, commonwealth, territory, insular possession, or any other area subject to the legislative authority of the United States. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 471-C:1
The administrator may bring an action on behalf of the state in the superior court for Merrimack county or in any federal court with jurisdiction to enforce this chapter.
