Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 47:19
- bylaw: when used in reference to legislative action taken by a city, town, county or village district shall have the same meaning as an ordinance and shall be subject to the same procedures for enactment. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:45
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
All fines and forfeitures for the violation of any bylaw or ordinance of a city shall be recovered by complaint before the municipal court of said city, and shall enure to such uses as the city councils may direct.
