Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 481:6-c
- Department: means the department of environmental services. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 481:2
- Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
All property of the department and all property held in the name of the state under this chapter shall be exempt from levy and sale by virtue of an execution. No execution or similar judicial process shall issue against the property. No judgment against the department shall be a lien upon its property or the property held in the name of the state under this chapter.
