Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 485:25
- Commissioner: means the commissioner of the department of environmental services. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 485:1-a

To protect the purity of interstate waters used as sources of public drinking water supply by adjoining states, the commissioner is authorized, at the request of the state health department of an adjoining state, to adopt rules under N.H. Rev. Stat. Chapter 541-A for the protection of the purity of the waters of any lakes, ponds, streams, and reservoirs within any specified drainage area in this state.
