Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 496:3
- Adjourn: A motion to adjourn a legislative chamber or a committee, if passed, ends that day's session.
In counties having more than one place for holding terms, the court may, for the convenience of parties, adjourn its sitting to any other of the places in such county designated for holding terms.
