- Attachment: A procedure by which a person's property is seized to pay judgments levied by the court.
No attachment shall be issued against a bank, as defined in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 383-A:2-201(a)(3), a credit union, as defined in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 383-A:2-201(a)(15), or property of a bank or credit union before final judgment in any suit, action or proceeding is rendered.
