- Attachment: A procedure by which a person's property is seized to pay judgments levied by the court.

- Plaintiff: The person who files the complaint in a civil lawsuit.
If a defendant fails to request a hearing or upon a finding by the court as provided, the court shall issue an order of attachment in such form and to the extent reasonably necessary to secure any judgment or decree which the plaintiff is likely to obtain, to seller with allowable interest and costs.
