Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 547-C:19
- petition: when used in connection with the equity jurisdiction of the superior court, and referring to a document filed with the court, shall mean complaint, and "petitioner" shall mean plaintiff. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:51
If there is no dispute, a petition for partition shall be filed in the county where the property or the greater part thereof lies or is then located. The judge shall appoint a time and place of hearing on the petition.
