Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 552:4

  • month: shall mean a calendar month, and the word "year" a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed; and the word "year" shall be equivalent to the expression "year of our Lord. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:8
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
  • Probate: Proving a will
Any person who shall neglect any duty required by N.H. Rev. Stat. § 552:2 and 552:3 shall, unless he gives an excuse satisfactory to the court of probate, forfeit the sum of twenty dollars for each month he shall so neglect after said thirty days, to be recovered by any person having an interest in the will.
