I. If the administration on an estate becomes vacant by death, extinguishment, or revocation the probate court may grant administration on the estate not before administered to such person as the probate judge may think proper, having due regard to the rule prescribed in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 553:2.
II. If the administration on an estate under N.H. Rev. Stat. § 553:32 becomes vacant by death, extinguishment, or revocation, the probate court may, in its discretion, require any administrator de bonis non to furnish an inventory of the estate, bond, or an accounting for assets before the completion of the administration.

Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 553:7

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
  • Probate: Proving a will
